Our Mission Statement

We offer services which support people in Pendle over the age of 16 yrs, without distinction of sex, political, religious, or other opinions, to change their situations to increase safety and well being and to response to the use of abuse and violence in families and relationships.

PDVI uses specialist staff and trained volunteers to deliver our services. As well as providing direct services to clients, PDVI is committed to improving responses to domestic abuse through participation in inter-agency work and training.

PDVI’s IDVA Service has achieved Leading Light status with SafeLives. SafeLives’s Leading Lights accreditation programme is designed to recognise and reward good and safe practice in community based domestic abuse services across England and Wales.

How to get support

If you are experiencing domestic abuse, including physical abuse, sexual abuse emotional abuse, controlling behaviour, threats, harassment or are subject to forced marriage and honour based violence from a partner, ex-partner or family member, we can help.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00pm – 6:00pm, out of hours you can contact us on the Emergency East and Central Lancashire 24 Hour Helpline: 08448 114 350.

If its an emergency, or if you or someone else is in immediate danger please call 999.
